Zibby Allen, who plays Brie Sheridan, says she “wanted to die a little bit inside”

Benjamin Hollingsworth are looking back on one of the sexiest scenes between a fan-favorite couple on Virgin River.

Hollingsworth joined his onscreen love interest and her co-host Alexandra Breckenridge on their podcast, I Like You Very Much. During the episode, Allen, 43, revealed that she’d discovered footage from her and Hollingsworth’s rehearsal for their steamy dance scene in season 3.

“I found the video of us rehearsing our sexy dance in the bar and the only bummer about it is that we’re in masks doing this dancing rehearsal,” she said in a clip from the episode posted on Instagram. “But I think the world would probably love to see it.”

“No you should [share it],” Hollingsworth said.

Allen admitted she’s “slightly shy” about sharing the rehearsal footage “because I remember doing that dance and wanting to die a little bit inside,” but her costar reassured her, “You killed that dance.”

Hollingsworth, 39, then complimented both Allen and Breckenridge as he said, “Both of you guys are like pro onscreen dancers.”

In the scene from season 3, Allen’s character Brie begins a sultry dance before Hollingsworth’s Brady joins her and the pair share an intimate moment at the bar.

Hollingsworth posted a side-by-side video on Instagram showing him and Allen wearing masks as they rehearsed the dance sequence, alongside the final result that aired. “Making of THE dance scene…  ,” he captioned the video.

The Netflix series, based on author Robyn Carr’s novels of the same name, follows Mel Monroe (Breckenridge) after she moves to a remote town in northern California.

The cast — which also includes Martin Henderson, Colin Lawrence and Tim Matheson — has been busy filming season 6 in Vancouver since April, according to Netflix’s Tudum.

Teasing what’s to come from the upcoming season, showrunner Patrick Sean Smith said it will also feature “some returning favorites from the past.”

Season 6 picks up after yet another cliffhanger. This time, season 5’s Christmas-themed finale episodes ended with the reveal of Mel’s biological father, Everett Reid, who is played by John Allen Nelson, and who will be a “big new mystery character” in season 6 as he carries a “long-held secret.”

The showrunner also said that the new season sees Mel and Jack “advance on their path to parenthood while also turning Lilly’s farm into their ultimate dream home,” while characters including Brady (Hollingsworth) explore “new directions.”
“Brady will be volunteering at the Virgin River fire station under Fire Chief Kaia, who is pulled into Preacher’s past sins,” Smith told Tudum.

The question of whether Brady and Brie will reunite remains to be seen, as they ended season 5 seeing other people.
