In the wake of Felicity’s funeral, Tane finds himself grappling with significant
emotions regarding the news of Harper’s pregnancy. After a night of heavy drinking,
he wakes up on Harper’s couch, feeling regretful about his earlier reaction to
her life-changing news. Despite his apologies, Harper remains unimpressed and insists that he must express his true feelings about the pregnancy. Tane is taken aback to learn that Harper nearly considered terminating the pregnancy, prompting him to demand clarity on whether he will have a voice in their child’s future. Acknowledging his need for space, he tells Harper he needs time to process the situation.
As fate would have it, Tane receives a call from John, who questions why he hasn’t opened the gym yet. Tane excuses himself to handle his responsibilities, but upon arriving, he finds that Perry is inexplicably absent. Later in the day, Harper approaches Tane, apologizing for not telling him about the pregnancy sooner. She explains that her brother Xander learned the news by overhearing her conversation with Dana and admits she was fearful of how Tane would respond, knowing he hadn’t envisioned this future with her.
However, Tane returns with newfound resolve; he’s ready to commit to this new chapter in his life. Meanwhile, Remy tries to comfort Eden, who is heartbroken after Cash’s departure. He reassures her that Cash is struggling with his own emotions and will eventually come to terms with everything. Despite his optimism, Eden feels despondent and attempts to reach out to Cash but to no avail. Just then, John drives by, revealing he heard the news from Bree, which only intensifies Eden’s feelings of frustration and sadness. Later, she reflects on her lost future with Cash while holding one of the wedding dresses Felicity ordered for her, tears welling in her eyes. Is her dream of a life with Cash truly over?
