Next week on *Home and Away* in the UK, Mali receives some unexpected but exciting news
about his artwork. After discovering a unique piece of art that had fallen out of his notebook,
Kirby noticed it was different from Mali’s usual style and encouraged him to explore it further.
Although the artwork was deeply personal and outside his comfort zone, Kirby persisted, even gifting Mali a blank canvas and paints to help him create a larger version.
Kirby didn’t stop there—she took the initiative to fill out an application for a local art competition on Mali’s behalf. Reluctant at first, Mali was hesitant to share such a personal piece with the world, but after some thoughtful advice from Alf, he eventually agreed to enter the competition.
Next week, Kirby continues to pester Mali, urging him to check his emails for any updates on the competition. She even jokes about how he would spend the $155,000 prize money, which only frustrates Mali, as he tries to stay grounded. To his surprise, however, Mali soon receives word that he’s been selected as one of the finalists.
Mali rushes to share the news with Alf before heading over to Kirby’s place, where he reveals the exciting development. Respecting his earlier request for calm, Kirby congratulates him in a composed manner, but as soon as Mali gives her the go-ahead to celebrate, she bursts with excitement and hugs him. Although Mali remains unsure about his chances, he admits he’s excited as Kirby opens some beer to mark the moment. Now, the long wait for the competition results begins—could Mali emerge victorious?
