In “Home and Away,” Justin鈥檚 efforts to protect his business and keep Claudia
at bay lead him down a dangerous path of deception. After a car crash caused by
a botched service, Justin begins covering for Claudia, telling lies to his wife Leah
and their friends. Though he believes he鈥檚 close to resolving the issue, his frequent absences start raising suspicions, especially with Leah.
Stevie becomes the first to sense something is wrong, and he confronts Justin, pointing out that his excuses don鈥檛 add up. Digging deeper, Stevie contacts Claudia鈥檚 ex-husband, who warns that she has a history of manipulating men, leading Leah to question Justin鈥檚 loyalty. At first, Leah refuses to believe Justin would cheat on her, but as his lies pile up, and when Justin misses their anniversary with no explanation, doubt begins to creep in.
Unbeknownst to Leah, Justin has been desperately trying to get home after Claudia made an unexpected move on him, attempting to kiss him. In a fit of anger, Claudia threw his car keys into the bushes when he rejected her, leaving Justin stranded. He feels foolish and panicked, worried about what Leah will think when he finally manages to get his phone working.
When Justin does reach out, it鈥檚 too late. Leah, overwhelmed by the lies and Claudia鈥檚 involvement, tells Justin not to bother coming home, signaling that her trust in him has been shattered beyond repair. Justin is left devastated, realizing the depth of his betrayal and the damage it has caused to his marriage.
