Netflix gave us an early Christmas gift this year, and it’s the Virgin River season 6

release date. Although the highly anticipated sixth season of Netflix’s fan-favorite

romantic drama was previously set for a 2025 return, the series has now officially

been confirmed for a release date in 2024. The full 10-episode sixth season of Virgin River premieres Thursday, Dec. 19 on Netflix!

The official Virgin River Instagram account shared the exciting release date news directly with fans. Along with the release date announcement for season 6, Netflix dropped a carousel of new images from throughout the season, which tease a glimpse at Mel and Jack, a pregnant Lizzie, and more first looks of all our favorite characters! It’s going to be a happy holiday this year, as Virgin River season 6 hits our watch lists on Dec. 19. As fans know all too well, it’s been over year since season 5 wrapped its airing in November 2023 with a pair of Christmas episodes. The first part of the fifth season dropped with 10 episodes in September 2023. Unfortunately, filming on season 6 was delayed due to the strikes.
