Following Felicity’s funeral, Tane is overwhelmed with grief and gets drunk,
eventually falling asleep on Harper’s couch. The next morning, he tries to apologize
for his poor reaction to her pregnancy news, but Harper remains unimpressed.
She needs to know where Tane stands and how he truly feels about the situation. Tane is shocked to learn that Harper almost didn’t go through with the pregnancy and demands to know if he would have even had a say in the matter. He tells her he needs time to think things over before making a decision.
As if on cue, Tane receives a call from John, asking why the gym wasn’t opened that morning. Tane excuses himself and heads off to take care of business, but when he arrives at the gym, something seems off—Perry is nowhere to be found.
Later in the day, Harper finds Tane and apologizes for keeping the baby a secret. She explains that Xander only learned about the pregnancy because he overheard her talking with Dana. Harper admits she was terrified of how Tane would react, knowing that she wasn’t the person he envisioned starting a family with.
But just when it seems all hope is lost, Tane returns with a look of determination—he’s in. He’s ready to commit fully to being a father.
Meanwhile, Remy tries to comfort a heartbroken Eden, who’s still devastated after Cash walked out on her. Despite Remy’s assurance that Cash will come to his senses, Eden is skeptical.
