In this upcoming episode, Harper’s big secret is about to shake things up.
Harper has been hiding her pregnancy from Tane, and the weight of the secret
is starting to cause concern among those close to her. When Dana and Xander invite
her to breakfast, Harper turns them down, preoccupied with how to break the news to Tane. Though the pregnancy is going smoothly, Harper is hesitant to tell Tane because of his fresh grief over Felicity’s passing.
Dana tries to convince Harper that this joyful news might actually help Tane through his pain, giving him something positive to hold onto. However, Harper insists that she wants to reveal the truth when the time feels right, not just to ease Tane’s struggles. Later, Xander voices his concern, noting that Harper always seems to find a reason to delay telling Tane.
Meanwhile, Cash is deeply immersed in his grief over Felicity. He starts clearing out her belongings, but Eden worries he’s acting too quickly. As he sorts through Felicity’s things, Cash stumbles upon an old photo, which triggers a flood of childhood memories and overwhelms him with emotion. To make things worse, a delivery arrives for Felicity—wedding dresses she had ordered for Eden to help her find the perfect one. The moment is bittersweet, and Eden and Cash share one of their hardest moments of grief together.
As Eden encourages Cash to talk to their father, Gary, who still doesn’t know about Felicity’s death, Cash struggles with guilt. He regrets not giving Gary the chance to say goodbye. With Tane’s support, Cash finally works up the courage to make the call. Elsewhere, McKenzie tries to return to work but is overcome with emotion when customers ask about Felicity’s absence. She eventually closes Salt for the day, unable to hold back her tears.
