involvement in criminal activity over the past few months. Earlier this week,
Mali confided in his friend and housemate Tane Parata聽about how he barely recognised himself聽following the recent dramas.
Mali arranged聽a fight with the dangerous Allen family聽a few weeks ago, wanting to take revenge after the gangsters kidnapped聽his older brother Iluka聽and beat him up.
The surf shop owner relied on back-up from the River Boys while confronting his enemies, but this had serious consequences when he ended up in their debt.
David ‘Dingo’ Lewis demanded a favour in return by forcing Mali to hold onto a mysterious bag, which he needed off his hands for a while.
Mali was horrified when he discovered the bag contained crucial evidence proving that the River Boys had killed a police officer. When Dingo and gang leader聽Rory Templeton聽were both arrested, Mali found himself caught up in聽the police probe聽too, risking his good reputation in the Bay.
