In July, we’ll see the 4th season of “Virgin River” — and although

the titular town is small, there’s no shortage of turmoil. Will another man appear

in Mel’s life? That’s what a new photo suggests. One of the main plots of

the series “Virgin River” is the romantic relationship between the main character, a nurse named Mel (Alexandra Breckenridge) and the owner of a local diner Jack (Martin Henderson), who are constantly faced with obstacles on their way to happiness. In the season 3 finale, we had a pregnancy turmoil and the question of who is the father of Mel’s baby, and now a new photo suggests that someone new may appear in Mel’s life.

Virgin River season 4 — Will Mel break up with Jack?

In season 4, two actors will join the regular cast, including Mark Ghanimé (“Girls of the Night”, “Helix”), who plays the role of the new doctor in town – Dr. Cameron Hayek. The handsome doctor is supposed to cause a stir, especially among the female part of the community, and the new photo suggests that he will get in touch with Mel. Some even suggest that it is a foreshadowing of her breakup with Jack.

Dark clouds hang over Mel and Jack’s relationship – the man proposed to the heroine, but she shocked him by informing him that she was pregnant and was not sure who it was with. Season 4 must explain who the father of her child is. Let us recall – the father of Mel’s child may be her deceased husband, whose sperm the heroine used for artificial insemination after Jack broke up with her.

What else awaits us in season 4? More photos were recently shown, and two of them seem to suggest that a tragedy will happen in the town. Some fans also think Doc’s condition will deteriorate rapidly — hence the new doctor in town.

Season 4 of “Virgin River” hits Netflix on July 20. We’ll see 12 episodes, and the series has also been ordered for a 5th season — the team will likely return to the set in the summer.
