premiere and how many episodes will we see? Work on season 6 of “Virgin River” has already

started in full swing – the writers returned to work last month, and viewers are wondering what awaits us in the new series after the surprise-filled Christmas episodes. When will we return to the set and what next?The showrunner of the series Patrick Sean Smith admitted in an interview with Deadline that season 6 will probably not be constructed in the same way as series 5, i.e. 10 episodes plus two Christmas episodes. Instead, season 6 of “Virgin River” will have 10 episodes, which is the same as the first three seasons.

Patrick Sean Smith added that the writing team is finishing up the second half of the season and hinted that viewers will see another time jump, although he did not reveal how big. And when will the cast return to the set to start working on season 6 of “Virgin River”? Alexandra Breckenridge, the series’ Mel, had a few words on the subject:

“Virgin River” currently does not have a season 7 order, but it is likely just a formality. And when can we expect the premiere of season 6? Typically, the series needs about a year between seasons, but now it will probably take longer due to the delay caused by the strikes. Considering the filming time and post-production, season 6 of “Virgin River” will be available on Netflix either in late 2024 or early 2025.

What can we expect from season 6 of “Virgin River”? The Christmas episodes suggested that the series would feature the wedding of Mel and Jack (Martin Henderson), and we will certainly also see a continuation of the storyline of the character’s newfound father.
