Virgin River is a Netflix show that is probably among the most popular today.

In the ensemble cast show almost every viewer can find something to relate and

a character to root for. For example, one of the most fan-favorite characters of

the show is Preacher, even though his fate is super unfortunate. The former US Marine, he is a close friend of Jack Sheridan and even works at his bar.

He had several love stories going on in the series, starting with Paige who dragged him into her mysterious past and made his life miserable, to several other not least interesting women.

However, season 5 saw him meeting yet another woman, who unfortunately didn’t make a good first impression on the audience. What’s more, the scene of Kaia Bryant’s first appearance ended up being titled as the most cringeworthy of them all.

It all happened during season 5 episode 3 when Preacher was still in the bar at night and a beautiful woman came in. They started talking, and fans already noticed something weird going on.

The writers’ idea was to show us sparks flying between them, but at the end all we got was an awkward conversation between them which for some reason ended up with a kiss. But the way it happened still bothers all the fans.

“Preacher is known for his meticulous kitchen and he let her put her dirty shoes on the counter. When he turned around and she was seductively turned like the pic I wanted to stab myself in the heart. It was too much. Unrealistic. Fake. Just have her walk around the counter and give him a kiss.
