Virgin River stars Zibby Allen and Ben Hollingsworth have opened up on

their “instant connection and spark” that they shared while bringing their characters to life

Virgin River stars Zibby Allen and Ben Hollingsworth have been singing praises about

their on-screen chemistry after working together for several years.

Known for their roles as Brie Sheridan and Dan Brady, the pair recently appeared on the I Like You Very Much podcast.

“Your level of dedication to the work is really impressive and I love it of course objectively, and then I appreciate it because I get to benefit as your scene partner,” Zibby began, who co-hosts the podcast with Mel Monroe actress Alex Breckenridge.

Ben responded, “We connected I think pretty quickly, which is important I think for Brady and Brie because [in] the storyline it’s what happens – an instant connection and that spark really carried itself through.”

He continued, explaining how they meticulously crafted their characters’ arc and had to “fight for” their chemistry.

“[There were] a lot of different storylines that were funnelling through in season 3 and some of them [in season] 4, and some of them were a little confusing for us.

“But we took the time to kind of fight for it and make it the best we could and I think, you know, obviously I owe a lot of that to you too,” he added.

Earlier this year, Allen confessed that filming Brie and Brady’s intense dance scene in season 3 left her feeling nervous and sweaty.
