The actress took to Instagram, cheeks blushing, after a comical mishap where she found herself trapped in her family’s chicken coop.

In the footage, shot by her husband Casey Hooper and their kids, Alexandra appears more than a tad embarrassed, caught on camera amidst her feathered friends.

“Oh, you had to get the phone!” she quipped, flashing an awkward grin once she noticed she was being filmed.

“And this thing closed behind me,” she said, gesturing frustratedly at the coop door.

“And I was yelling for you. And you know what? I even yelled at a man who was going by on his golf cart and he didn’t stop!”

Her astonishment was palpable as she recounted how the man completely ignored her pleas while her partner Casey couldn’t help but chuckle.

“He didn’t even look at me!” she lamented. “And I was yelling at him! What is wrong with people? Who is that person? What a jerk!”

Once the coop door was finally opened, Alexandra didn’t hang about, quickly making her escape and noting that a missing string on the lock would have saved her from the embarrassing entrapment.

In a candid Instagram post, Alexandra from Virgin River divulged a rather unusual incident, sharing with her followers: “I got locked in the coop today,” and explained, “I yelled and yelled for help.”
