Coronation Street fans are convinced they know the real reason Tracy Barlow

has returned to the Cobbles after her shock comeback – and it’s not for her daughter Amy.

Kate Ford has made a dramatic return to Coronation Street as Tracy Barlow,

with her character reappearing on the Cobbles in Friday’s episode.

Tracy had previously vanished from Weatherfield earlier this year, following her partner to Spain for his new job opportunity. However, her Spanish escapade took a turn when she embarked on a romance with an ex-footballer, leaving her long-term love Steve McDonald heartbroken.

Steve has been coping with Tracy’s absence and has formed a close bond with Cassie, who has been caring for Ken Barlow during his recovery from a fall.

Upon her return, Tracy remained tight-lipped about her true motives, claiming it was to see her daughter Amy. Yet, viewers are speculating about the genuine reason for her sudden comeback, suspecting it’s not related to Tommy.

Others believe that a breakup with her beau Tommy is the real cause behind Tracy’s hasty return to the street.

Back when Tracy departed from Coronation Street, viewers were left scratching their heads yet seemed certain a clue had been dropped she would return some day. Reflecting on social media, a fan queried: “What’s gonna happen with the flower shop then? #corrie”, and another one queried: “Tracy is just leaving her florist business?
