Eden Fowler is heartbroken after her split from fiancé Cash Newman, and today,
things go from bad to worse. Cash returns home briefly to collect his belongings,
but instead of talking to Eden directly, he asks his foster dad, Gary Morrow,
to act as a go-between. Gary, however, refuses to play mediator, telling Cash that since he’s the one who ended things, he needs to deal with the consequences himself.
Despite Gary’s advice, Cash continues to give Eden the cold shoulder, leaving her feeling even more devastated. Gary offers Eden some words of wisdom, suggesting that if Cash is still the man she wants, she should fight for him. Unfortunately, before Eden gets a chance to confront him, Cash drops a bombshell—he’s leaving Summer Bay. This news leaves Eden reeling, wondering if their love story is truly over. Could this be the final chapter for Eden and Cash?
Meanwhile, Perry Hayes is struggling after giving a statement to the police about his abusive father, Carl. When Perry takes his car to Summer Bay Auto for repairs, garage mechanic Theo notices that something is weighing heavily on the teenager’s mind. Theo can relate to Perry’s struggles, having had his own issues with his violent dad, Dimitri. Theo fled to Summer Bay to escape his father, and now it seems Perry may have found a kindred spirit in Theo.
