In the upcoming *Home and Away* episode, a hidden talent of Mali Hudson
is shockingly uncovered by his friend Kirby Aramoana. Next week,
viewers will see Mali face a tough decision regarding his future career as he secretly delves
into his artistic abilities. While Mali works on surfboards at the shop, he鈥檚 been experimenting with a different artistic style in private. Kirby stumbles upon some of Mali鈥檚 artwork, instantly recognizing how unique and different it is from his usual surfboard designs. Despite receiving praise, Mali downplays Kirby鈥檚 interest, even suggesting he planned to throw the artwork away.
Kirby, however, is impressed and believes Mali has real potential. She urges him not to abandon the project and buys him a blank canvas along with art supplies to encourage him. Though hesitant, Mali eventually starts painting, and later, proudly shows Kirby the finished product. He admits his gratitude for Kirby鈥檚 encouragement, acknowledging that she pushed him out of his comfort zone.
But Kirby takes things a step further, revealing she鈥檚 been researching art competitions. She tells Mali about one contest with a grand prize of $155,000 and encourages him to enter. However, this move doesn鈥檛 sit well with Mali, who explains that competitions aren鈥檛 his goal鈥攈e鈥檚 not in it for the money. He also points out the poor timing of Kirby鈥檚 idea, given the tragic news of their friend Felicity Newman鈥檚 condition, after suffering a brain aneurysm. With the Summer Bay community in mourning, Mali dismisses the thought of pursuing a cash prize, but Kirby remains determined to convince him otherwise.
