Cash and Eden worry about a despondent Felicity after Rory’s confession.
With Eden’s encouragement, Cash goes to console his sister, asking what
he can do to make things right. Felicity tells him that she needs to see the man she loves, so Cash relents.
Cash takes Felicity to the police station the next day. Felicity is elated to see Rory, but he’s ice-cold. He tells her that what Cash said was true, and there’s no getting around it. Rory apologises – this isn’t what he wanted for their relationship, but she needs to forget about him.
Meanwhile, Xander is reeling after finding out the “secret” he wasn’t supposed to find out – that his girlfriend is supposedly pregnant and hiding it from him. He confides in Rose, who calms him down and tells him that he needs to respect Dana’s choices. He reassures her that he does, but he just wants to be there for Dana because if he’s feeling scared or confused, then surely she’s feeling a hundred times worse.
Xander pulls Dana aside to talk. He tells her that she’s not alone and reassures her that she can tell him anything. Dana is confused but quickly realises what’s happened. She laughs it off and tells Xander she’s not pregnant, but is at a lost for words when he presses about what she was talking to Harper about. It takes about two seconds for Xander to finally put two and two together. The cat’s out of the bag, and Xander breathes a sigh of relief.
Elsewhere, Irene’s drinking habits are getting worse and worse, and it seems like Leah is the only one catching wind of this. Leah is troubled – she wants to do something, to help her friend before she really starts to slip. She asks Justin to visit her friend under the guise of asking her for advice.
Irene, however, is smarter than this. She immediately sees that this is a cleverly-disguised plan by Leah to “snoop” on her. Irene explodes, accusing Leah and Justin of not having any trust in her – in fact, Leah’s the one with the problem. She tells the pair they have no idea what she has had to go through recently with the trauma of Bronte’s schemes. With that, she unceremoniously throws them out of her home. Who’s going to help poor Irene now?
