Cash reports to Felicity that he has been stood down from the security company,
which is standard procedure while they review the circumstances of Stevie’s death.
Nelson is also waiting for answers. Cash explains that he hadn’t known that the stalker was
out on bail, but he still blames himself.
Nelson reveals that he’s under pressure to recast Stevie’s role. Cash is furious, pointing out that Stevie hasn’t even been buried and they can’t just replace her. Bree witnesses her friend’s outburst and suggests to Felicity that Cash might benefit from counselling.
When Flick gets home, she finds Cash wallowing as he watches Stevie’s cult horror film, Death Throes. When he rebuffs the counselling suggestion, she simply sits with him to watch, knowing her brother has a long road ahead.
When Bree catches up with Nelson later, he reveals he has quit the film, furious with the callousness of the producers. She asks what he’ll do next, so he admits there’s a project waiting for him in Naples and he wants her to go with him. When Rose queries why she hasn’t jumped at the opportunity, Bree admits it’s because of Remi and she kissed him.
Meanwhile, Dana didn’t hear Harper come in last night, so she questions her sister. Harper reveals that she slept with Tane. Dana is thrilled and wants to know everything, but she senses there’s something deeper at play for Harper, who admits she now has feelings for her friend. Dana urges her sister to tell him how she feels, but he’s away and Harper feels it’s a conversation to have in person.
They agree not to mention it, but Dana typically can’t resist. Harper clarifies her position – she can’t have this complicated by other people before she’s had a chance to talk to Tane. Will Dana be able to keep her mouth shut?
Elsewhere, Rose is excited to have time with her boyfriend when she learns his housemates are all away. They’re shocked to find the house is open when they do get home though, and Mali is greeted by a familiar face – his older brother, Iluka. Despite having broken the lock to get in, Iluka manages to charm Rose, and she decides to give the brothers some time to catch up.
When Rose has gone, Mali digs for the real reason for the surprise visit. Iluka dodges the question, but knowing better, Mali calls Elandra and finds out his brother is in trouble. When they come face to face again, he demands to know what Iluka did this time.
