Congratulations are in order for Lucy Fallon who has revealed that she is pregnant

with her second child. The Coronation Street actress shared the happy news on Instagram

on Monday, 19 August as she shared an emotional video with her 570,000 followers.

In the video, the 28 year old shared a series of clips from throughout her pregnancy, including one of a pregnancy test and another of herself cradling her baby bump. In one particularly adorable clip, her one year old son Sonny Jude could be seen holding a series of pregnancy scans.

“Half way there,” she captioned the post as her fans and celebrity friends flocked to the comments section to share congratulatory messages. “Awwww congratulations beautiful,” wrote Amy Walsh.

Meanwhile, another one of Lucy’s followers added: “Ahhhh this video makes my heart so happy omg CONGRATULATIONS on your second pregnancy Lucy you’re going to be even more amazing with this baby like you are with your angel boy Sonny.”

Lucy who is known for playing Bethany Platt on Coronation Street, is already a proud mum to Sonny Jude, who she shares with partner Ryan Ledson.

Back in April, the actress opened up about her desire to expand her brood during an episode of Drama Queens on ITV. During a discussion, the pair discussed their future family plans, with Ryan stating: “Maybe one more,” before Lucy countered his viewpoint with her own and argued: “Two more.”

Meanwhile, back in 2022, Lucy spoke to OK! about her pregnancy with Sonny and explained that she was “fortunate” to get pregnant after sadly experiencing a miscarriage earlier in the year. “We’re very fortunate that it happened again for us,” she said. “We weren’t putting pressure on it, and I was trying not to put pressure on myself and then it just ended up happening that way for us. It was obviously just meant to happen.”

Lucy also opened up about the moment she found out that she was pregnant with Sonny and explained how partner Ryan wasn’t the first person she told. “I just had a feeling that I was pregnant. I did a test and the line came up straight away. I actually told my mum before I told Ryan! I FaceTimed her straight away as I felt like my eyes were playing tricks on me,” she said.

“Then Ryan came home from training and I was holding the test in my hand and I just said, ‘This has happened!”

Ryan added: “It was a bit of a surprise coming back from training to that.” He continued: “I was a bit shocked because of what we went through and I didn’t think it would happen that soon. But we’re made up and it felt like the next stage for us. It felt like it was meant to be.”
