has shared a couple of details about life on the soap right now and portraying
his character after being quizzed about his summer schedule.
Fans of the ITV soap will know the young actor for playing Sam Blakeman, who first appeared in Weatherfield in 2020 and is the son of Nick Tilsley and the late Natasha Blakeman. He didn’t meet his father until he was nine years old, as Natasha and Nick had split up before Natasha knew she was pregnant.
It was during a chance encounter at Weatherfield General in 2020 which resulted in Nick finding out that he had a son. But just a year later, Nick became Sam’s sole parent after Natasha was tragically shot dead by gangster Harvey Gaskell in 2021 in a case of mistaken identity.
Now though, life is much different for Sam on the Cobbles and as for Jude, the actor is often sharing update on his supervised Instagram page and is often seen enjoying life in the Salford-based soap with his fellow younger cast members.
This week, he took to Instagram with a snap of himself and William Flanagan, who is known for playing Corrie’s Joseph Brown. Alongside the post, Jude wrote: “Always a good day when Will is in #corrie #corriekids #joesphbrown #samblakeman #filming #busyweek #summerholidays #timetopretend.”
Corrie co-star Jane Hazlegrove, who plays Bernie Winter in the long-running soap, that was among those to respond, writing: “Aw my beautiful boys,” alongside a number of love heart emojis.
But it was one one his followers commented: “School ain’t out for summer I see,” that Jude confirmed: “Filming October.” The soap star was also quizzed about the wardrobe department.
Taking to his Instagram Story, Jude shared a snap of himself and said: “When Sam has the same slippers as me. Day 2 of 4 underway.” Later, he returned with the same photo and shared: “Coupe of questions on costumes… Every actor gets their own wardrobe of
