Spoilers alert: Next week, Weatherfield will reel from more teen drama as Fiz Brown’s kid Hope Stape (Isabella Flanagan) lets slip a massive baby clanger on her unsuspecting fam, reports the Liverpool Echo.
At the jump of the week, Fiz (Jenny McAlpine) is gobsmacked when Hope ditches Sam suddenly becoming buddy-buddy with Jack Webster (Kyran Bowes).
Hope seeks out Dr Gadass, aiming to nab some birth control pills. The doc hands over condoms instead and nudges Hope to have a family chinwag.
However, the Corrie fandom is all abuzz, betting their bingo winnings that Hope’s headed down mum road. Over on Facebook’s Coronation Street fan page, Corrie enthusiasts were quick off the mark, responding to the upcoming teasers; one speculator chirped: “Well that’s Hope pregnant then.”
Someone else hit back: “with what’s happened with her character so far is it really that surprising? Sam’s going to the dad.” Another added their two cents, saying: “Not another teen pregnancy. Think Corrie needs new writers! “.
