Fearing the arrival of Elina and Doran will tear her family apart, Hope has been acting out in alarming ways.
Recently, Hope has broken up with her boyfriend Sam Blakeman, been rejected by Jack Webster, and secretly started vaping—despite previously getting her classmates into trouble for the same thing. Ignoring warnings from Jack and Sam about the dangers of vaping, Hope continues to spiral, which worries those close to her.
Her rebellious behavior takes a darker turn when her step-grandmother, Cassie Plummer, discovers a vape pen in her bag. Hope begs Cassie not to tell her parents, Fizz and Tyrone, who are distracted by their own drama as Elina reveals plans to return to Romania with Doran. Tyrone, desperate to keep his son close, steals Elina’s passport, but when Fizz discovers this, she returns it to Elina, leading to a tense confrontation.
In an attempt to bond with Doran, Tyrone, Hope, and Ruby video-call him, but things take an awkward turn when Elina abruptly ends the call. To their horror, they realize that Elina overheard a heated exchange between Fizz and Tyrone, where Fizz regrets returning the passport. This revelation leaves the family in crisis once again.
