Coronation Street is set to deliver an intense week on the cobbles, as confirmed

in my brand new spoiler videos, with confirmation of a death sending shockwaves.

The ITV soap lines up the death of Joel Deering (Calum Lill), whose body is recovered from

a river after three lads spot it. DS Lisa Swain (Vicky Myers) is keen to find out the cause of death.

Kit Green (Jacob Roberts) is quick to confirm that they’re looking at murder, with Joel having received a blow to the head.

The question is: who is to blame?

Sarah Platt (Tina O’Brien), meanwhile, features in not one but two of our weekly clips this week, with the first seeing her quiz Adam Barlow (Sam Robertson) over the whereabouts of Damon Hay’s (Ciaran Griffiths) missing money.

Later, she questions Jesse (John Thomson) on his motives for coming back to the Street, wondering if he’s out to get Gail’s (Helen Worth) cash.

Monday October 14

Sarah storms into the law office demanding an explanation from Adam, believing that he was the one who stole Damon’s cash.

Adam isn’t pleased with her line of questioning as he reiterates that he wants nothing to do with Damon and thus he would have never stolen the money.

But if Adam isn’t responsible, then who is?

Wednesday October 16

DS Swain meets with Kit at the cafe and asks about what happened to Joel. At this point, Joel has been found dead in a river.

Kit confirms that the villain actually is dead – and that he was smacked on the head with something heavy, with the leading theory being a crowbar.

The question is: who killed Joel?

Friday October 18

Jesse takes the Platt clan out for a pub lunch, wanting to get to know them properly.

It’s clear, however, that David and Sarah have their reservations and therefore they proceed to quiz him on what his motives are, wondering if he’s after Gail’s money.
