A former character returns as part of Abi Franklin’s shocking storyline, as the culprit behind her latest ordeal could finally be exposed. Someone has been creating and spreading deepfake porn videos of Abi.

She has no idea who has done it and why, with her convinced someone is out to ruin her life. Next week, spoilers reveal that a discovery leads Abi to possibly working out who is to blame.

It leads to a past character returning to the show after three years away, weeks on from another return being teased. Abi becomes sure it is Stefan Brent, played by actor Paul Opacic, who has created the videos as revenge.

Viewers will know that Stefan’s son Corey Brent is in prison for murdering Abi’s son Seb Franklin in 2021. Stefan had tried to cover for his son and flee with him, only for them to be caught.

Abi recently found out that a TV production company were creating a prison documentary involving Corey, where he was painted as a good person. Abi managed to get the documentary scrapped, and just days later her ordeal began.

Next week as her ordeal escalates, she finds out that Stefan could be seeking revenge – and not just because of their past. Abi finds out Stefan is a board director of the production company that made the documentary.

Not only that but with Abi being approached about a magazine wanting to write a positive story on Corey, Abi finds out he owns this publication. Abi questions if Stefan could be targeting her because she ruined the documentary and slandered Corey once more.

A spoiler video shows the moment Abi is accompanied at the police station by husband Kevin Webster, with her telling the police what she knows. Soon enough, DS Swain escorts Stefan into the station for questioning, with actor Paul reprising the role after three years.

Abi promises to wipe the smirk off of his face as he heads into the interview room, but has she got the right person? Viewers will have to tune in next week to find out what Stefan has to say for himself, and whether someone else could be to blame.
