Cash is confronted with a heart-wrenching decision. As Felicity remains unresponsive
in the hospital, Cash continues to sit by her bedside, refusing to let go of his sister.
Despite the doctors making it clear there’s no hope of her waking up,
Cash isn’t ready to turn off the life support just yet. Tane arrives for a final visit, offering silent comfort by placing his arm around Cash as both men are filled with tears.
Bri enters the room and gently pushes them to make a decision, asking if Felicity ever expressed her wishes about organ donation. Cash and Tane are caught off guard, unsure of what Felicity would have wanted. As Cash contemplates the idea, he realizes that while he can’t save his sister, someone else might be able to get a second chance at life through her. This thought brings him a sense of peace, and he nods, giving Bri permission to proceed with the surgery.
Together, Cash, Tane, Eden, and the hospital staff walk Felicity to the operating room, saying their emotional goodbyes. The following morning, Tane performs a traditional Haka, pouring his grief, anger, and sorrow into the ritual. As he collapses to his knees, overwhelmed by the loss, Perry watches from a distance, wondering if Tane will be okay.
Meanwhile, Harper is also dealing with her own struggles. Her ultrasound appointment is scheduled for the same day, but with Tane consumed by his grief and unaware that he’s about to become a father, Harper feels overwhelmed. Her sister, Dana, steps in, offering the support Harper desperately needs. Hand in hand, the two head off to meet Harper’s new baby.
