*Home and Away* star Ada Nicodemou recently opened up about how

the cast discovered her real-life romance with co-star James Stewart,

who plays Justin Morgan. The on-screen duo, Leah Patterson and Justin,

confirmed their off-screen relationship earlier this year after being spotted kissing in public. However, according to Ada, their fellow cast members were already in the know.

Appearing on the *No Filter* podcast, Ada explained that she had only shared the news with those she was closest to on set, and the rest of the cast simply figured it out on their own. “I didn’t think we needed a group email,” she joked to host Mia Freedman, adding that once a few people knew, the word naturally spread.

Despite the cast becoming aware, Ada admitted she was surprised by her romantic feelings for James, whom she had known for over 25 years. “There was never anything between us for all that time,” she said. But then, something changed. “There was this chemistry for the first time, something new that hadn’t been there before—it was strange, but exciting.”

The couple initially wanted to keep their relationship private, but that plan was interrupted when they were photographed kissing while waiting for an Uber. Even though they were “papped,” Ada said, “Everyone who needed to know already knew.”

The pair officially debuted their relationship at this year’s Logie Awards, marking the first time they were photographed together as a couple. Ada shared how special it was to finally make their relationship public, saying, “It was really nice to have that moment and say, ‘Yes, we’re together.’”
