In upcoming *Home and Away* episodes, Tane faces heartbreaking news following
a baby scare, while Perri’s day in court takes a devastating turn. On UK screens next week,
Tane learns that Perri Hayes’ legal case against his abusive father, Carl, ends in disappointment.
Perri recently confided in Tane and Harper about his traumatic upbringing, where Carl forced him into criminal activities. Tane promised to support Perri during his court testimony, but events take an unexpected turn.
Before the hearing, Perri receives a threatening note from his father, causing him to panic and consider skipping court altogether. Tane tries to calm him down, reassuring Perri that Carl can’t hurt him anymore and that a successful hearing would mean freedom from his father. However, things go wrong when Harper, who was supposed to accompany them, rushes to the hospital after experiencing bleeding, worrying about the health of her unborn baby with Tane.
Despite Harper ignoring Tane’s calls to avoid distracting him from Perri’s court case, her sister Dana intervenes, informing Tane about Harper’s emergency. Tane immediately abandons his plans to support Perri and rushes to Harper’s side just in time for her ultrasound. Thankfully, the couple is relieved to hear the baby’s healthy heartbeat, and the scare passes.
However, the relief is short-lived when Rose Delaney calls Tane with bad news: Perri’s father was found not guilty. Perri had to face the trial alone, and it remains to be seen whether he will blame Tane for his absence and the disappointing outcome. These dramatic scenes air on Thursday, October 31st, and Friday, November 1st, on Channel 5.
