Carl had tracked Perri down in Summer Bay, demanding one last illegal task, but when Perri refused, Carl’s threats turned violent, leading to the fatal confrontation.

Perri, originally part of a youth rehabilitation program in Summer Bay, had confided in his friend, Tane, about the years of abuse he had suffered. Despite the trauma, Perri tried to build a new life in the Bay, but Carl’s relentless pursuit culminated in a deadly altercation.
