The premiere of season 5 of the series “Virgin River” is just around the corner,

but the star of the Netflix melodrama doesn’t have good news about the next,

already announced 6th season. If you were wondering at what stage of production

the already ordered 6th season of “Virgin River” is, then Alexandra Breckenridge comes with the answer. The actress who plays the main role in the Netflix hit posted a video on Instagram in which she apologizes to fans in connection with the production standstill caused by the strikes.

 

Virgin River season 6 – when will the Netflix series continue?

“Virgin River” is another of hundreds of Hollywood series productions whose continuation will reach fans with a delay. Breckenridge shared a video with fans of the series (via Digital Spy), in which she tells fans while cooking that she can’t promote anything right now or even answer questions about season 6 of “Virgin River,” and then apologizes to viewers for the situation.

Breckenridge’s situation illustrates the current situation of all American stars associated with the Screen Actors Guild. Referring to the strike situation from the inside of her own kitchen, the “Virgin River” star continued:

According to the official description of “Virgin River” season 5, the series will feature “surprising new relationships, a shocking breakup, a difficult trial, a heartbreaking goodbye, and a fire threatening the town.” Maternity issues will force Mel (Breckenridge) to make an important decision about her future at the clinic, and her pregnancy will trigger an unexpected emotional connection to the past. Jack (Martin Henderson), on the other hand, will face long-delayed matters.

The production of the 6th season of “Virgin River” was supposed to start in July, but due to the strikes, it is currently impossible to set a new shooting date. Here you can see the trailer for the 5th season of “Virgin River” – the upcoming series will consist of 12 episodes and has been divided into two parts, the first of which (10 episodes) will be shown on September 7, and the second (two episodes) will appear on November 30.
