on the ITV soap could tear one family apart, and emotions will ‘run high’.

on the horizon following a life-changing bombshell.

With turmoil ahead for more than one character after a twist, emotions are set to “run high” in upcoming episodes. In a recent episode Tyrone Dobbs was stunned by the return of his ex Alina Pop, three years after her exit.

But the bigger bombshell came when he found Alina had a son, and he was the biological father. Tyrone and wife Fiz Brown are now having to process the huge change to their family and find a way through.

Soon their daughters Hope and Ruby will find out about their secret little brother, amid a past feud between Hope and former stepmother Alina. With old wounds resurfacing and a life-changing bombshell hitting the family, it seems there’s some “upsetting” scenes ahead.

Teasing what was ahead on the ITV soap, Tyrone actor Alan Halsall revealed Hope could be “triggered” by Alina’s return and the news about his son, given her past actions that left Alina in danger, and sadly led to Alina miscarrying her baby. Speaking about what is ahead, Alan exclusively told The Mirror: “Tyrone gets lost and consumed by the whole thing, and how to please everyone. Once there is a child involved emotions run high.”

On how Hope will react, he went on: “It’s always there with Hope, she can be triggered at any point by anything. His concern is his girls and Fiz, he doesn’t want to upset what he has at the moment which is a happy life.

“Something like this probably will upset Hope. She doesn’t take too kindly to the situation.” On Tyrone’s struggle, he went on: “He is a family man. Because of his own childhood he wants to provide the best for his girls and if there is another child he didn’t know about, then he will want to do right by them too. But he is always trying to please everyone which does not work in real life.”
