The footage of Ada proudly supporting her on-screen and now off-screen partner comes after she opened up publicly about their relationship for the first time, first in聽Stellar Magazine, and then during聽Monday morning’s episode of聽Sunrise.
Ada and James聽were first spotted kissing on Anzac Day, a little while after the stars’ previous relationships ended. It came after聽The Sunday Telegraph聽reported that the pair had taken their on-screen relationship off-screen and had been secretly dating, after being spotted kissing at Channel Seven’s Christmas Party last year.
The news came after it was announced James and ex-wife Sarah Roberts had quietly divorced at some stage in the last year with聽Sarah officially addressing the divorce聽in late April, while Ada’s relationship with Sydney businessman Adam Rigby reportedly ended late last year.
Now Ada has finally opened up in a new interview with聽Stellar聽about the “unexpected” romance.
“Jimmy and I are together, yes. It’s only early days. It’s very recent and very unexpected. I’m super happy. It’s really lovely,” she said.
The pair’s on-screen wedding aired on April 9, just a few weeks before the couple was photographed kissing, with Ada adding that the wedding was not what brought them together.
During an appearance on聽Sunrise聽on Monday morning, the hosts asked how she felt that her new romance was now out in the open, with the star saying that it doesn’t change anything for the pair.
“Look, you know, whether it’s out there or not doesn’t really change our relationship. You know, we’re happy we’re together,” she said.
“You know, James is just such an amazing actor. I love working with him. That’s not changed as well, so whether it’s out there or not doesn’t really change anything for us.”
